Ahmad Aliff has been composing music since the age of 16. He is much influenced by the composition styles of the classical and baroque period. However, he frequently infuses the elements of modern pop and traditional Malay music. On a side note, he is the first Malaysian to publish a work of music on the International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP), the world’s most popular classical music library.
